Railway tried electric cars
The German travel group Bahn AG is testing in Berlin and Potsdam from the early summer of 2010 with an environmentally friendly transport customer electric cars. Customers can choose between 40 rental vehicles and 50 electric bicycles. The posting of the electric car or electric-powered bicycle made by phone or with a corresponding map. ADAC provides free electricity
The traffic club ADAC has launched a Christmas promotion in which all owners can recharge an electric car for free electricity. In the period from January 2010 to the end of 2011 is the action of an electric car drivers, saving good money. It will be up 27 charging stations and are located near the ADAC offices. "We are convinced that electric vehicles should be supported at all levels. Through our project with the e-mobile charging stations, we provide a first important contribution to the implementation of this new technology, "said ADAC President Peter Meyer.
The charging time until the battery recharged to 100 percent amounts to an hour and should be scheduled. In the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia are the e-mobile to find charging stations in the towns of Siegen, Bonn, Neustadt / Weinstrasse, Weilerswist and Kings.
